The full Consortium meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 12:30-1:30 at the Children’s Institute (located in the back lot of Village Gate Square, 274 N. Goodman).
All are invited to attend.
The Domestic Violence Consortium (DVC) functions through a committee process. An active member agency of the DVC is required to have representation on at least one of the committees listed below. However we encourage membership in more than one committee if you choose.
Criminal Justice Committee
Meets from 12:30-1:30 on the 4th Thursday of every month @ the Crime Victims Resource Center (244 South Plymouth Avenue)
This committee provides and open forum for communication and networking amongst professionals in the criminal justice field.
Legislative Advocacy Committee
Meets from 12:30-1:30 on the 1st Wednesday of each month from November-May @ the Crime Victims Resource Center (244 South Plymouth Avenue)
This committee works to advocate for legislation related to domestic violence, while planning our annual Legislative Breakfast and coordinating the DVC’s contribution to NYSCADV’s Annual Legislative Advocacy Day. Meets at 9am on the 1st Tuesday of every other month @ Equal Grounds Coffee House (750 South Avenue)
This committee works to increase awareness of, and services to victims of, intimate partner violence from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning communities.
